2014 seems so long ago for Waratahs fans

It is hard to believe that in 2014 the Waratahs were Super Rugby Champions and minor premiers after watching them go down to the Force 40-11 and knowing that the Force might be the one for the axe for next season. In 2014, I wrote about complacency and leading into the spring tour and as a die hard fan of the Waratahs it is hard to believe we could fall so far so fast in just three seasons but then again, is it really that surprising?

Southern Hemisphere is on Notice

Spring tour started and now we have an idea of where the Southern Hemisphere really are at . Short answer is we have some work to do.

Over the weekend 140 Characters were definitely not enough and one of my favourite South African Tweeps, Dawn Dunn, a rugby fan after my own heart and radio correspondent for East Coast Radio in Durban, echoed some of the heart ache I knew all too well from watching the Wallabies when her beloved Springboks lost to Ireland at the weekend. (DD is well worth following for her analysis as much as her unashamed biased support for her teams of the Sharks and Springboks. Get a keen insight into the emotional roller coaster a genuine rugby fan feels with a World Cup just around the corner … and yes, I am now at peace with 2003).

How Adam Ashley-Cooper got 100 test caps is unlikely to be repeated

Adam Ashley-Cooper reaching 100 Test caps for the Wallabies deserved far more reflection time after the match than it got and got Zero coverage this week….  so I made this video:

The media storm that arose after Bledisloe 3 saw Adam Ashley-Cooper reaching 100 caps set aside which does not do this justice. Well I think it is time to rectify that and I will give a reason for every 10 caps he has in doing so.
